EcoVadis awards Point Silver

We are proud to announce that EcoVadis has awarded Silver to Point in recognition for our CSR achievement. The EcoVadis audit has ranked Point in the top 30% of companies assessed in the same category.

Nicholl Alexander, Head of Quality and Supplier Management, the driver behind the EcoVadis audit explains:

EcoVadis is internationally recognised for its independent assessments of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) management systems performance. EcoVadis aims to reduce risk, drive innovative sustainable procurement practices and foster transparency and trust between trading partners.

Alexander’s team with the help of other departments achieved Silver by all making a concerted commitment to better Point’s practices companywide. Alexander continues:

The methodology at the core of the CSR analysis system encompasses 21 criteria across four themes: Environment, Fair Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. This includes criteria such as Product End-of-life, Child Labour, Corruption and Anticompetitive practices.

This achievement further solidifies Point’s commitment to our three values Innovation, Integrity and Partnership. Clients entrust Point as their Print Management Company to act ethically, sustainably and fair whilst delivering quality, efficiency and best in class end-to-end solutions. Over and above our sustainability commitment internally, Point carries out further audits and development programmes for our supplier base regionally.

Point also successfully concluded an onsite SMETA audit and results have been uploaded to the SEDEX portal.
